Borges, first impressions

I found Borges to be intruiging...I'm not exactly sure whether or not I like him yet! I found that it was interesting that there are different schools in Tlon that all have different interpretations of the idea of "time". For some it doesn't exist, and for others it has all already happened. This reminds me of the different cities in Invisible Cities where all the cities where different interpretations of the central or golden city Venice. Their different ideas of time also remind me of Trafamadore in Slaughter-House Five where the Tralfamadorians believe that time has all already happened and can't be changed, like a script. Tralfamadore seems like it would fit in well with Tlon!
