Fishing and words

Share - Not "Hey, would you mind if I or somebody else had some of that?" No, when we say share, it means "Please save a large portion of that on the off chance that someday in the distant future (perhaps weeks) I decide that i would like some."

Family - Not even blood related individuals. More like everybody any one of us has ever known and loved sufficiently. These people are allowed to show up to family events as if they are not related at all, even if nobody else knows them and the person they know does not show up. its actually pretty cool, I meet a lot of awesome people like that.

On a side note, I was in Rhode Island this week for personal reasons, when I saw my uncle who is a fisherman. He works independently and locally, and he agreed with Foer's point that by catch is the single most damaging thing in the fishing industry, for a lot of reasons. Just a note.
